Billing itself as the “definitive guide to the world’s wondrous and curious places,” Atlas Obscura has combed the world with help from innumerable enthusiasts to find everything from the wacky (an 80-year-old house in Rockport, Mass., made entirely out of newspapers) to the sublime (Wave Rock in Marble Canyon, Ariz.).
